U CAN: winner of the 2017 innovation trophies organised by the Rennes CFIA
How is it innovative?
The U CAN concept is innovative in that it combines two products from different worlds: solids and liquids. A recycled (RPET) mono material sealable container clips onto cans of drink. A PP version (polypropylene) extends the possible applications to products requiring heat treatment.
There is nothing close to this innovation on the French market. It provides manufacturers in the drinks and snack food sector with a new product concept, opening up the number of possible combinations of cobranded products.
The U CAN concept by Plastobreiz’s multi-disciplinary team was awarded the 2017 innovation Trophy organised by the Rennes CFIA.
