Following on from past CFIA shows in Rennes, Plastobreiz (Auray, 56) premiered its latest product concept – vintage verrines – from its “Creations by Plasto”, finished product concepts, fully conceived and eco-designed in-house, at the 2019 CFIA in Rennes, to provide its customers with a potential source of inspiration.
This is a collection of verrines made with 80% recycled material (RPET).
The primary goal was to create a sealable multi-application container to protect and preserve fresh produce.
The second goal was to provide a simple shape that can be easily industrialised for our food industry customers.
Lastly, with a no waste goal, we identified an ideal capacity (271 ml) for a targeted consumer experience. The integrated centre for the design and manufacture of moulds at PLASTOBREIZ illustrates a wide range of design alternatives with this new concept, making it a key differentiator for our customers’ brands.
This new product epitomises our idea of the RIGHT PACKAGING: practical, safe, well-engineered, and ethical packaging. Through this new packaging, our show visitors became more aware of the challenge of accommodating protection requirements, easy use and product appeal, while integrating eco-design and packaging end of life.
To finalise the concept, our Plastobreiz staff teams imagined several possible variations.
